Corey Shell
@coreylshell
Louisville InfoSec 2019

In this presentation, Corey will discuss current trends in Cybersecurity, as well as his observations as someone who regularly performs technical Cybersecurity Assessments. We will discuss the importance of regularly conducting Cybersecurity Assessments as well as Common Security Controls that every organization should consider for the purpose of improving their level of cybersecurity preparedness and reducing their attack surface. We'll discuss the concept of low hanging fruit, and how your institution can implement affordable (and sometimes free) controls and best practices to avoid becoming the next victim of Cybercrime.
